you are more than enough

Romans 8:30-31 (KJV)

30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

If God called you to a mission, be assured you are equipped to fulfill your purpose and destiny. So many times, we second guess ourselves and become more concerned by what others might think or say. We question our abilities wondering if we are smart enough, if we are pretty enough, or if we have the right qualifications, and so on and so on.

This is a scenario for many of us because we are more concerned about impressing someone else and obtaining their approval that we forget our Master has already pre-approved us. Please understand you do not need validation from anyone else. If God called and handpicked you to sing the song, then sing the song, if he told you to start your business, then start it, whatever he pre-approved you to do, do it without hesitation and allow him to take care of the rest.

So many times, we halt our blessings and even miss out on them because of our negative thinking. You must be more confident about yourself than anyone. You cannot allow others to determine your abilities. Only God has the authority to validate you.

If Jennifer Hudson would have listened to Simon from American Idol, then she may have never gone on to be the famous singer and actress she is today. If Michael Jordon would have given up basketball when he was cut the first time, then he would have never won the numerous championships and be known as the famous MJ.

What you cannot afford to do is NOT believe in you. If God called you today, that means you meet his criteria. Jeremiah thought because he was a child that he was unequipped to lead a nation and be God’s spokesman. But God told him:

Moses also lacked self-confidence, as he had a speech impediment, and when God called him to lead the children of Israel out of Egypt, he felt intimidated and insecure, but God told him:

This is evidence that if God called you in the state or position you are in today; you are fully equipped to fulfill his purpose and mission. I rejoice with you as you walk into your destiny full of self-confidence and trust that God is leading and directing you.

Be blessed child of the most high God.
